Is the industrial trend going anywhere? Don’t be silly, of course it’s not. It might be sort of on hold while warmer weather and lighter materials take hold, but come next fall, I guarantee you that black and leather will still be as popular as they have been for the past several months. There will be other trends as well (most noticeably, a strong bent toward midcentury shapes and colors), but this one must still be popular.

That’s great for people like me that like black, and also for any individual that loves the Boyy Syd hold – it may not fit into your warm-weather wardrobe, but you’ll be able to get some use out of it in a few months.

This hold isn’t all that innovative, but I do like how the weather silver pieces look like rings on the “fingers” of leather that make up the bag. it’s a great design detail and sets this little appeal besides the horde of black clutches that regularly compete for our money and attention.

I think it’s a little pricey for the size, but I like the overall look and how beneficial it will be during cold weather, so if you’re in to it, I’d probably recommend waiting for a sale.
